Our performance calculation is based in a combination of retrospective calculation (backtesting), over 3 years of live-tracking and continuous optimization. Although certain survivorship bias can always be present during backtesting, live-tracking results support such numbers even under a period of macroeconomic turmoil.
Although investments in the stock market can be currently done over almost every bank, we believe the associated costs are not justified. Our team personally uses neo brokers such as Scalable Capital or Trade Republic, with low transaction fees. You will simply need a suitable broker with access to the most common exchange markets. After subscription to Penta Trading, you will get access to our stock selection and corresponding ISIN (International Securities Identification Number) for you to find and implement in your broker.
This strategy has a higher volatility compared to investing in traditional ETFs and therefore we recommend a combination with less volatile products. The potential performance however outweighs the volatility of the system. This is inherent to the selection of 5 stocks that is aimed at maximizing performance. However, this logically increases exposure and clumping risk. Although drawdowns of 10 % have taken place in the past under unforeseen events (e.g., the beginning of the tightening of the economic policies) this is compensated by regularly beating the market, sometimes in excess of 15% on monthly basis.
Upon subscription, you will get access to the portfolio composition for the month which you can then implment with your own broker. A daily surveillance will trigger notifications should changes occur at the end of each monthly rotation, and in case a stock is losing its strength and needs to be taken out of the selection.
To minimize the volatility of the strategy, we recommend to combine Penta Trading with less volatile investment assets (e.g., ETFs). The best investment strategy is a very personal aspect, and needs to fit within your risk tolerance. A basic start would be an All World ETF combined with Penta Trading.
